Should I choose a Hammock or a Hammock Chair?
Hammocks provide a resting reclined position, whereas hammock chairs offer a little more back support so that you may sit up a bit more. Both are very comfortable!
Can I leave my hammock chair or hammock outside all year round?
If there is an extended period of inclement weather or long periods in which the hammock will not be in use, placing it under shelter . This will prolong the life of the hammock. If you live in the areas of snow, it is advised to bring it in out of the elements.
How do I choose between cotton rope, polyester rope or fabric for my new hammock chair or hammock?
It's whatever you prefer. Rope hammocks are open weave so they may allow you to feel more of a breeze than fabric hammocks. Fabric hammocks offer a continuous surface, providing a comfortable bed. Cotton rope is a more traditional and soft material for hammocks or hammock chairs than polyester roping. However, polyester rope is weather resistant and can increase the longevity of your hammock or hammock chair if it is to be exposed to the elements over an extended time period.
The Air Chair® and Hammaka Chairs are constructed of 600X600 Denier UV treated polyester, (the most durable and UV resistant material of its kind).
How do I hang a hammock chair from a tree?
Hammaka Chair Hammocks come with mounting hardware for attaching to ceiling joist or beam. Better yet, purchase a stand so you don't have to worry about beams or trees.
How to Place an Order
On the Go Hammocks has been organized according to specific categories. The Hammocks tab at the top will take you to the product categories. Select the one that describes the item you are looking for to get a more detailed listing of the products available. For example, clicking on the “Chair Hammocks” tab will open a page that lists the many different kinds of hammocks we carry (Rope Hammocks, Air Chair Hammocks, etc.). Once you have found a product you are interested in, simply click the “Add to Cart” link for that item to view a detailed description of the item including its dimensions, construction, available options, and quality ratings.
Adding Items to Your Shopping Cart
Once you have located an item you are interested in purchasing, you need to select any available options and click on the “Add to Cart” button. Clicking this button will add the item to your virtual shopping cart and display the complete contents of your cart. At this time, you may continue shopping, adjust the quantities of items in your cart, or elect to checkout. You can access the contents of your Shopping Cart at any time by clicking the “View Cart” icon at the top of every page on our site.
Ready to Checkout
If you think you are ready to check out, take a moment to review what is currently in your cart. Make sure that you have selected the appropriate color and fabric options and that the correct quantities are listed. If everything is in order, you are ready to Proceed to the Checkout Page. Click on the “Secure Checkout” button to view the Secure Encrypted Checkout Page.
At this point you are taken to the first page of the checkout process. This page is ENCRYPTED using Verisign technology.
On this page you are asked to fill out a form to provide us with your name, billing/shipping addresses, and desired shipping method. Once this form has been completed and you click on “Submit”, you will continue on to the “Verification and Payment” page.
Verification and Payment
The “Verification and Payment” page is also ENCRYPTED using the same trusted SSL web server digital certificate from authorize.net
At this time you will be asked to verify the information you entered on the previous page and to provide your preferred method of payment. Currently, there are three choices to choose from: 1) Pay By Credit Card, 2) Phone in Payment Information, or 3) Mail in a Check or Money Order. If you choose options 2 or 3, simply follow the instructions provided to submit your payment. If you choose option 1, you will need to enter your credit card information in the spaces provided.
When all of your information has been entered, click on the “Submit the Order” button. At this time, our web server will initiate an ENCRYPTED connection with the Authorize.Net credit card verification service to either approve or deny your transaction.
If your transaction is approved, an e-mail receipt is generated by our web server and sent to us and to the e-mail address you provided.
NO CREDIT CARD INFORMATION IS INCLUDED IN EITHER OF THESE MESSAGES.
In fact, we have no way to view your payment information when you order on-line. Our Shopping Cart software does NOT log the Credit Card Number, and the Authorize.Net credit verification service does not permit us to view your complete credit card number. In this way, no one in our organization has the ability to view credit card numbers for any customer that places an order on-line.
What are the accepted payment methods?
On the Go Hammocks accepts several methods of payment. No matter what method you choose, we guarantee that every transaction you make will be secure. All prices are listed in U.S. dollars and payment must be made in US dollars.
What Credit Cards do you accept?
On the Go Hammocks currently accepts, Visa, MasterCard, Discover cards and Paypal. You can safely enter your entire credit card number via our secure online shopping cart. Our system simply provides an authorization for your card. It does NOT log, store, record, or transmit your card number in any manner accessible to us. At no time will we have access to your Credit Card information when you place an order online.
Can I pay with a check or money order?
On the Go Hammocks currently accepts Personal Checks, Cashiers Checks, and Money Orders as methods of payment, Please keep in mind that when you pay with a personal check, your order will be delayed for up to two weeks while we wait for the check to clear. Cashiers Checks and Money Orders are processed immediately.
